LANVIN

Embroideries that I designed for a T-shirt of the Lanvin Spring Summer Collection 19. While creating the playful hearts I learned to refine my feeling for colour harmony and the interplay of different form elements.

During my internship at Lanvin one of my tasks was to do research for the upcoming autumn/winter collection. Therefore I created prints, moodboards and looked for inspiration in the archives of old fashion magazines.

 

I created my print suggestions based on the theme "Animalprints" and tried to renew this classic, well-known motif. 

I have focused especially on the feather motif, as I find it the most unique of the animal motifs.

I created the motifs using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and a manual drawing approach, as well as using Adobe Illustrator

My further field of activity consisted of participating in fittings, assisting in the showroom, meeting with fabric suppliers, organizing of the fabrics and colorizing the croquis.
